At Glastonbury Townhouse Bed & Breakfast, we’re committed to providing the best possible service and we’re proud to receive some exceptional compliments from our clients.
My wife and I had an amazing time visiting Glastonbury on our honeymoon. The Glastonbury Townhouse was a great place to stay. Paula made us feel right at home with her cheerful attitude and wonderful breakfasts. She had some great suggestions for places to eat. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Glastonbury. It is just around the corner from all of the shops and there is a market across the street. The Chalice Well and Glastonbury Tor are only a short walk away. Teddy the cat is adorable and friendly. While we loved our visit we missed our cats and Teddy made us feel loved. The atmosphere of this place is very welcoming and we hope to visit again soon.Vincent Garma
This is a lovely place just down the road from the Abbey. Really friendly welcome, terrific breakfast, private parking, spotless and beautiful room overlooking the garden. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this glorious place.Tessa F
We enjoyed a four night stay at the Glastonbury Townhouse, with an absolutely wonderful host, who was incredibly welcoming from arrival to departure (we would have loved to stay a few more nights). The breakfasts are spectacular; the Townhouse is centrally located and an easy walk to all the sacred sites (Tor, Wearyall Hill, Chalice Well) and to the town. We would love to stay here again. There is a beautiful garden which you are able to use at your leisure, so we created our own sunset mezze plate and enjoy with Spanish Rioja. Highly recommended as a quintessential English BnB stay.Zan H
Just returned from a weekend break at the lovely Glastonbury Townhouse with four friends to celebrate our birthdays. The B&B is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and we all agreed Paula’s breakfasts were the best we had ever had anywhere. Paula is extremely welcoming and guests can come and go as they please and even have access to a lovely outside seating area. There is tea and coffee in the rooms with biscuits and we even had some wine, Prosecco and G&Ts left to enjoy our celebrations which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is amazing with cereals, fresh fruit, croissants and cooked menus. The house is literally a couple of minutes into Glastonbury and makes for a lively convenient stay- would thoroughly recommendJoanne H
Being welcomed by Paula was like being welcomed by an old friend. The room was beautifully clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the garden. Great for all the extra touches in the room, quality tea, fresh milk, extra blankets should we need them. Also the added bonus of having use of the outdoor area to relax. Going down for breakfast was another 10/10 experience. The selection of food catered for every need and was all beautifully fresh and a little too tempting. We opted for the cooked breakfast, which was freshly cooked to order and stunning. There is nothing negative I could say, except that we eventually had to leave. You would be hard pushed to find a top hotel delivering the experience we received at the Glastonbury Town House. A 10/10 place to stay. Can’t wait to go back.Chris M
I love staying here. Paula welcomes you like life long friends do. A lovely warm comfy home from home. The rooms are excellent! Lovely comfy beds, as much tea and coffee as you want. Tv, and a hairdryer! Which I must remember for next year to save packing mine . The ensuite is kitted out with everything you need wash wise. Breakfast is to die for! So much choice it’s brilliant….highly recommend the scrambled egg with smoked salmon. Nothing is too much for Paula. Also ideally suited for the town and the Tor. I park up and don’t use the car again until it’s time to go home.
Have stayed at Paula’s 3 times now and have already booked for next year.Yvonne D
